Gordon Whittaker was the lone team representative for the South Carolina State Time Trial Championships outside of Charleston on June 16th.   The time trial championships usually attract, well, time trail specialists, unlike the other disciplines whereas there might be more hope of a top placing.   Time trails are you against the clock and a few mind games to boot.   Short and sweet… Gordon started the 40K course fast, stayed fast and ended fast… placing 1st in the 35-39 age category.    Congratulations Gordon!   The team is proud of your accomplishment.
